Just like the Rolex Tower, another famous name brand is looking towards the sky in Dubai. I am a poet and didn’t know it. Anyways…the Burj Dubai, which is anticipated to be the tallest tower in the world when completed in 2008, will feature one of the world’s first Armani Hotels. When complete, the Armani Hotel Dubai will feature 160 guest rooms and suites, a variety of restaurants and a spa covering more than 40,000 square meters. Adding to the luxury of the hotel are the 144 luxury residential suites, which will be personally designed by the celebrated Italian designer and will feature his home furnishing line, Armani Casa.

The Yellowstone Club
If you’re like me you hate when you have to mingle with the middle class. Located in Montana, The Yellowstone Club is the world’s only private ski and golf community. From skiing down groomed, tree-lined runs to untracked powder the hill offers skiing for any skill level. A Tom Weiskopf-designed 18 hole Championship golf course also means leisure time in the summer, to play with friends and brag about how much money you have. I am really good at that.

North Island is one of the most beautiful islands in the Seychelles archipelago. The island has been dubbed a Noah’s Ark for endemic plants and animals. The most luxurious eco-resort in the world, has only 11 villas for rent from $1565 to $2675 per person a night. Each Villa is around 4,890 square feet and is designed with privacy and luxury in mind. With all the amenities of a mainland resort, I would be wishing that I got lost on this island.

Club Sandwiches are my favourite part of staying in a hotel. Almost every hotel and resort offers one on the menu, no matter where you stay. The Cliveden in Berkshire, the famous country house hotel that is part of the exclusive von Essen private collection, is offering it’s guest the most expensive club sandwich in the world. At £100, which is around $250 CDN, the sandwich is compiled of Iberico ham, poulet de Bresse, white truffles, quail eggs, semi-dried Italian tomatoes and 24-hour fermented sour dough bread. The von Essen Platinum Club weighs 530 grams and is the perfect lunchtime treat for any overweight fifthly rich person.

St Catherines
Is the start of rain and cold weather starting to get you down? Perk up by planning your next vacation on VillasoftheWorld.com complete with private islands and celebrity houses (like Mick Jagger’s Caribbean beachfront villa). For the price of a small condo, you and 20 of your friends could rent one of these beautiful private islands for one week. As soon as I win the lottery I am definitely staying at St. Catherine’s in England that dates back to around 1310. I’m betting that castle has a lot of ghosts to keep me company!

Acabion
