M/V Aqua
I have always wanted to explore the Amazon but sleeping in a shack with large bugs and no running water is where my pool boy lives, not me. Oh Ronaldo! So, I almost spit out my morning mimosa when I came across the M/V Aqua. This luxury mini-voyage takes you to Peru, the Amazon, or the Pacaya Samiria Reserve with the luxuries of gazing out to the jungle while you enjoy a meal in the fabulous dining room, shopping at the on-board boutique or resting in your California king-sized bed. The 7 night cruise in the master suite starts at $4,900 per person. I hope we run into one of those undiscovered tribes. I bet they are dying for some decent hair products.

Pershing
Some luxury yachts can be on the gaudy side. They have too many gold fixtures, overstuffed furniture and frilly interiors for my liking. However, if you’re like me you seek the sleek and modern, I want a yacht with an exterior and interior to reflect that. Well take a look at Pershing’s 115. The winner of the Italian Style Mega Yacht Award in 2004, this beauty combines luxury, comfort and style. The Pershing 115 was designed by Fulvio De Simoni, the Pershing and Ferretti Group Engineers and an abundance of staff and took them a total of 18 months to perfect this incredible machine. As the saying goes - good things come to those who wait.

Another luxury automaker has jumped on the hybrid bandwagon. The new LS600hl is the latest and most expensive addition to the Lexus line. Lexus says the V-8/hybrid combo equals modern V-12 power, more than 430 horsepower and a 5.2-second 0-60 mph time. The LS features two small cameras that monitor for cars, people, and other solid objects that could cause a collision, and a third camera monitors the driver’s head. If his or her eyes don’t seem to be on the object ahead, the LS gives the driver a warning chime and flashing light, then gently applies brakes, then amplifies their intensity. I think instead of a warning chime the steering wheel should shock you with electricity. That would keep people’s eyes on the road!

One can never have enough toys in the garage. Check out the all-new Brammo Enertia electric motorcycle. This is probably the coolest looking electric bike I have seen yet. According to Brammo, the Enertia can reduce a commuter’s carbon footprint by 92 percent. Learn more about the technical mumbo jumbo or just get your butler to read it for you like I did. The limited edition “Carbon” model sells for $14,995 and is set to deliver sometime in 2008. That will give Jeeves enough time to move all the solid gold blocks out of the garage. Those silly things are always in the way.

Superyacht
The revolutionary Poseidon 180 Superyacht features eight spacious staterooms with floor to ceiling panoramic ocean views. The vessel also has excellent seakeeping and stability in heavy seas, so you won’t puke up the pate and champagne you just had. The military developed Bentley Yachts’ Air Cavity Hull and an innovative hull design offers reduced hydrodynamic drag for about 30% better fuel efficiency because when I am paying $50 million dollars for a boat, high gas prices tick me off!

BMW
I wrote a few posts back about an eco friendly vehicle. Now that was a fun little weekend car but nothing will replace your beloved BMW. Have no fear as you can have your Beemer and your Birkenstocks. BMW’s Hydrogen 7 is the world first hydrogen-drive luxury performance automobile. It features an internal combustion engine that allows the vehicle to run on either liquid hydrogen or gasoline. On hydrogen, the vehicle emits nothing but water vapour. The BMW Hydrogen 7 will be built in a limited series, and sold to select customers in the U.S. and overseas in 2007. So, that basically means we don’t have a hope of getting our hands on one for quite some time.

Versace
Fashion designers have home furnishing lines even car designs now, they are looking to the sky. Versace has just revealed it will team up with the Agusta Westland to design, develop and produce an exclusive line of private helicopter interiors. Specific target customers will be able to personalize the interior of their helicopter with Versace style. It’s about time. My helicopter was so in need of a makeover!

2054 Lexus
Want a Lexus from the future - say the year 2054? Well you have until March 1st to get the funds together to purchase the car Tom Cruise drove in Minority Report. Also seen in the movie The Island, there are only 3 of these cars in the world. One owned by Lexus themselves and the seller is even offering to customize the interior for the buyer. The price is expected to reach $80,000.00 a small price to pay for a truly unique ride.

American Roadster
With all the talk about Global Warming these days people are starting to look towards “green” choices they can make in their lives. Check out the American Roadster. This little vehicle runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and gets 70 miles per gallon of fuel. CNG is made in the USA and has the lowest pollution emission of any other fuel available today. The Tri-wheel design makes it classified as a motorcycle, which helped it become the first production hydrogen vehicle in the world. Roadster is available for sale on their website for less than $20,000. You’ll turn heads driving around in the roadster and feel good about doing your part in reducing your impact on the environment too.

Fearless Yachts
Luxury performance boat manufacturer, Fearless Yachts has established an exclusive collaboration with the renowned Porsche Design Group to build an amazing new collection of high speed, custom luxury boats and yachts. These sleek and stylish beauties were launched at the Miami International Boat Show this month. “The luxury of owning a Fearless Yacht could only be compared to the lifestyle of international jet setter, James Bond.” explained Jeffery Binder, CEO of Fearless Yachts. I can just see myself jetting away from the bad guys, guns ablaze all while catching a golden tan in the Fearless 68 model. Ahhh the life.
